Looking for some outdoor activities to get out of this covid funk!
Rebuilding Together has asked for some help on March 27th, in Bucoda.
If the weather is good , there is a lot of old fence and old garden shed debris as well as landscaping stuff that needs to be cleaned up, there is a dumpster on site, lunch will be provided !
Any help will be appreciated, please let us know by replying to this email and we can supply further instructions for the Bucoda project.
Thank you all and have a great week.
Instructions for the day
The items we are going to be removing are large - pieces of old fencing, old storage shed parts, tree debris, etc. Volunteers will definitely want gloves and a chainsaw or two would be good. I am meeting with the homeowner on the 8th to review everything that is going to be removed and I'll have a better idea after that meeting about what tools are needed. I have a volunteer who only likes to wield a chainsaw. I wanted to look at the property needs first to determine if I need him in addition to you folks.
Wheelbarrows and maybe a dolly or two would be good as well. I have some I'll bring to the project.
We love volunteers as long as they are at least 14 years old. Because of the type of work that is going to be done, I would recommend "hefty/strong volunteers" vs tiny teenage frames.
Address is 102 North Nenant Street in Bucoda.
There will be a walk in style dumpster on the property because of the size of the material being disposed of.
