On Friday September 2nd, the Hawks Prairie Rotary gathered together to listen to Mike Beadle. Mr. Beadle is the owner of Yelm Prairie Lanes in Yelm, former owner of the Evergreen Speedway and South Sound Speedway. He informed us about NASCAR and the history and pursuit of building a NASCAR track here in the area! We also celebrated August birthdays, just so happens of all the rotarians who was present, Cory Lopardi of Pardiman Productions got singled out! Happy Birthday Corey! I hope it was a good one! And finally the raffle! There is $91.50 in the raffle as we speak, with 19 marbles left. Ken Balsley won the free lunch!
