Mark your calendars for Monday Feb. 21St , 2005, as all of the Washington State Rotary Clubs will be getting together at the State Capitol Rotunda, to celebrate 100 years! It all happens at 4:30 pm as 6 Rotary Districts congregate in the Rotunda along with an estimated crowd of about 1000 Rotarians. Hawk's Prairie Rotarians Joseph Beaulieu and Greg Stevens will lead the crowd in the singing of The Star Spangled Banner , Oh Canada, and The Centennial Song! Make plans to be there Now!
Centennial District Governor Dick Drew is excited! This event will be a crowning effort of Rotary Clubs both in the U.S. and Canada! The Canadian Club's will have a similar event in Victoria B.C. to celebrate Rotary's Centennial. There is no service club more wide-reaching and influential on the face of the planet than Rotary. Be proud that you are a member during this all-important time for Rotary. As we celebrate the coming 100 years!
