Meeting Recap 1-13-17

Second meeting of the year and we had a surprise last second speaker!  Jill Barnes with the Washington Center for the Performing Arts came to us to talk a little about the goings on with the Center!  The Washington Center is a cultural hub for the South Sound with a 980 seat venue, including a black box room with a 140 person venue.  They hold many shows throughout the year drawing people as far away as Alaska for their shows!  The Washington Center helps the economy in Thurston County area as well.   They have found that 40 to 50 % of the patrons dine in our resteraunts before the shows and another 15% go out for drinks after their shows. Thank you Jill for speaking to us on such short notice!
